The River Spirit

Pen & Rose Productions present their third original theatre show The River Spirit which tells the story of a small town and a dying river spirit. The spirit of the river has become unwell, fractured into three, and is losing all sense of who she once was. Is Tam, a young man born and raised on the river banks, the only hope for this tormented spirit or is it up to all of us to save her?

Inspired by the recent flooding across the UK and the current level of pollution and littering in waterways, The River Spirits invites you to actively respond to and question these events in a fantastical and immersive theatre experience.

Featuring original music and a story inspired by a rich history of folklore.
