A rare chance to see Haiku Salut's magical lamp show in London. The trio perform with a stageful of vintage lamps which are programmed to flash, fade and flicker in time to the music. The effect is mesmerising, joyous, emotional and quite unique, like watching electronica come to life.
Support comes from Emma Kupa, who will be playing songs from her recent, wonderful solo LP, "Home Cinema", and Grawl!x, longterm friends and collaborators of Haiku Salut, whose superb debut album came out earlier this year.
The Westminster Reference LIbrary stages a handful of carefully curated gigs every year - the likes of British Sea Power have played the library in the past - and we're honoured to be bringing the lamp show to this gorgeous venue, a stone's throw from the National Gallery. This will be a very special evening indeed.
