His Holiness the Dalai Lama to Speak at the 02 Arena

His Holiness the Dalai Lama is to give a public talk at The O2 Arena on Saturday 19th September 2015 organised by the Tibet House Trust. The talk, entitled 'Compassion: the Foundation of Well-Being', will begin at 1pm and will be followed by a Q&A session chaired by psychologist and ‘emotional intelligence’ expert Daniel Goleman.

Daniel Goleman who is to lead the Q&A is a science journalist and psychologist who wrote 'Emotional Intelligence' and 'A Force for Good: The Dalai Lama’s Vision of Our World'. He is on the board of directors of the Mind and Life Institute and one of the founders of the Collaborative for Academic, Social and Emotional Learning. Information about submitting a question to His Holiness for the Q&A will be provided when booking a ticket for the event.

The talk at The O2 Arena on 19th September is the main public event of the Dalai Lama’s 10-day visit to the UK in September. Further details about the visit will be released at the beginning of September.
