Oval Space Music presents Daniel Bortz, Ata, Ian Pooley, Oskar Offermann

Oval Space Music rolls into Autumn with another distinctive line up, featuring Daniel Bortz, Ata, Ian Pooley and Oskar Offermann.

Bortz is becoming something of an Oval Space Music regular thanks to his coursing sets which we just can't get enough of. For the last 13 years, Bortz has been forging his deep beats, grooves and tracks for the club world from his base of operations in Augsburg. And it's precisely that club world that Bortz has been gracing with his releases and remixes for some time now.

Joining the line up as a new addition is adroit all-rounder Ata, who decided he should become a DJ after experiencing a life-altering epiphany in a Barcelona nightclub in the late 80s. We're certainly thankful he did, for he has gone on to carve a path as a visionary in the European club scene, owning three labels and running the legendary Robert Johnson club in Frankfurt alongside Sebastian Kahrs. With an encyclopaedic knowledge of music, expect to be transported through the halcyon days of classic house, disco, funk and techno by this DJ mastermind.

Joining him is German DJ, producer, label manager and DJs DJ, Ian Pooley. With a career spanning nearly 25 years, Pooley continues to bridge the gap between house and techno, contributing to some of the electronic scene's biggest labels including Innervisions, Ovum as well as his own labels pooledmusic and Montage. Rounding up the bill is Oval Space newcomer Oskar Offermann, the man behind Berlin's WHITE Records and edit-oriented Rimini imprint. The sample-heavy and crisp, percussive nature of his work is no doubt indebted to his roots in hip hop production and MC-ing as a youth in Frankfurt.
