Chrisp Street Festival

Head to the Chrisp Street Festival for a free day of circus-themed entertainment on Sunday, 6th September. The family-friendly event takes place from 12-6pm, offering exciting performances and themed activities for the whole family to enjoy.

Aircraft Circus will bring you two 30-minute aerial acrobatic shows throughout the day, and Circus Square will be showcasing an eclectic mix of dance performances, art, poetry and live music.

If you’re itching to get involved, you can head to The Big Top and take part in acrobalancing, hula hooping, face painting, juggling and plate spinning workshops, or stroll down Circus Path for an exciting carousel act whilst the kids enjoy roaming performers.

Fairground lovers can take a ride on the waltzers, enjoy a game on the coconut shy or a battle with the Strongman, whilst Zanies Way, curated by somewehereto_, will play host to magicians, clown stilt walkers, interactive street art and children’s entertainers.

Delicious food will be provided by the Bite Street Food collective, which promises a range of quality food traders. You can enjoy a Spanish speciality from El Marinero, or grab a hotdog with street food favourite Oh My Dog. Back Street Diner will be providing the best burgers on the block, and Cat Food will be serving delicious hand crafted cupcakes that you can enjoy with a Black Box Coffee brew.
Located opposite All Saints DLR, and two minutes from Langdon Park DLR and only four minutes away from Canary Wharf on the DLR, Chrisp Street is situated on East India Dock Road.
