As we reach the grand old age of 6, we've decided to throw a two floor carnival extravaganza and celebrate in true Book Club style. For one evening only, both floors of TBC will be transforming into a vibrant Carnival of global rhythms & beats so expect carnival décor, face painting, special carnical punch, two floors of music and much more.

In the main room we are joined by infamous northern party starters Banana Hill. These guys will be drawing on an eclectic selection of Afrobeat, Hip-hop, Funk, House, Global Bass, Techno, Kwaito & Garage as they are joined by special guest & man of the moment Al Dobson Jr.

But that's not all, upstairs sees the annual installation of festival (and Book Club) favourites Disco Shed. Back in the building with a bang, expect the full DS soundsystem, shed and residents to blast your ears with the best party tunes around as they mix up the genres playing funk, reggae, house, hip–hop, dancehall, dubstep and of course, Disco.
