Argos has unveiled the first ever standalone Star Wars toy museum curated by the UK’s biggest fan, Keith Guppy, to celebrate the launch of the brand new range of Star Wars toys.

Taking place in its Tottenham Court Road digital store for one week only and in anticipation of the eagerly awaited Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens film in December, the exhibition brings to life the evolution of Star Wars toys over the past 40 years and reveals the brand new collection set to take the galaxy by storm!

Iconic toy replicas of the AT-AT Walker from 1982 through to more modern additions such as Anakin Skywalker’s Pod Racer from Episode I, as well as rare character figurines dating back to the late 1970s will be on display. Fans of all ages will be able to reminisce about their own personal favourites from years gone by.

2015 builds on the fantastic heritage of previous decades with a whole new toy collection to excite new as well as older generations of Star Wars fans. They can harness their inner force with the new Bladebuilder, a customisable lightsaber with over 100 combinations. A new Force Awakens Lego range offers 11 items from the iconic Millennium Falcon and new TIE Fighter, to Kylo Ren’s new Command Shuttle.

Han Solo and Chewbacca’s Millennium Falcon has the honour of being the exhibition’s jewel in the crown. The new Episode VII version is truly the best yet, being able to fire Nerf darts and complete with LED cannons and three figurines of Chewbacca, Finn and BB-8. At over 55cm long, it’s tipped to become one of this Christmas’ most wanted toys, just like the 1983 version, which is also being showcased.
