Pictures of Life is a unique and exhilarating choral work for all ages by acclaimed composer Lionel Oscar Segal, celebrating our wonderful but threatened world, and the power of the human spirit to bring about positive change.

The orchestral concert features a range of internationally renowned soloists: American baritone Rodney Earl Clarke, Welsh born operatic bass Richard Wiegold, soprano Eloise Irving, a former BBC Radio 2 Choirgirl of the Year, and mezzo-soprano Hannah Poulsom.

Joining the soloists will be ASCOLTA (a new choir of young professional singers); Finchley Childrens Music Group, whose ages range from 9 to 15, and Barbershop Quartet A Cut Above. The concert will be conducted by Peter Broadbent, best known as the conductor of the Joyful Company of Singers, who has worked as a guest conductor with choirs and orchestras throughout Europe.

The concert is in support of 21st Century Tiger, a wild tiger conservation initiative between the Zoological Society of London and Dreamworld Wildlife Foundation. 21st Century Tiger will have a promotional display at the event and the audience will have the opportunity to hear about their work in a talk prior to the performance.
