CASA Latin American Theatre Festival

CASA Latin American Theatre Festival 2015 is entering its eight edition. Each year, it aims to disseminate the best art from Latin America, to bridge the gap with theatre here in the UK. This year, we are particularly excited that our theatre programme focuses on Mexico, offering, for the first time, a rich panorama of work from one country. The result is a bold darkly comic look at love, life and death in Mexico that will move you and shock you as all great theatre should. Visitors can expect a wonderful array of theatre, music, debate, art, food and drink. Many of the shows deal with contemporary issues, such as When They Disappear, which looks at the vanishing women in Mexico, and I'll Melt the Snow off a Volcano with a Match, which interrogates the policies of intimidation by the PRI party. Other complimentary events include a live Latin jam, and a LGBT party on the final weekend.
