Described by BBC Music Magazine as ‘agile, incisive and impassioned’ violinist Darragh Morgan and pianist Mary Dullea are renowned soloists of new music as well as members of The Fidelio Trio, one of the UK’s leading chamber ensembles. Picking up the Pieces explores new and recent repertoire, much of it written for this duo, by a diverse selection of composers.
Causton’s Seven States of Rain, dedicated to Mary and Darragh won the first ever British Composers’ Award. James Weeks’ recent work A Toy receives its world premiere with other London premieres from Charlotte Bray, Camden Reeves and Benedict Schlepper-Connolly.
