The Intermediate Photography Workshop is designed for people who already have an understanding & know how, where & why to put into practice Aperture, ISO & Shutter Speed and how they work together.
It will be held either along Southbank/Westminster or within the Square Mile/City of London. The workshop will run from 3 - 6 hours depending on client numbers (max. 7 clients).
Workshop content:
- How to change autofocus points and focus modes.
- Overview of how exposure works.
- How to work with shutter speed.
- How to decide which settings to use in particular situations.
- Histograms to how to read and understand them.
- Setting your camera in Manual mode, and when to use it.
- The pros and cons of shooting in RAW.
- Metering modes and how to use them.
- Light basics how to use it to get the effect you want.
- Creativity - working with weather conditions, fill-in flash, use of colour, formal elements (shapes, texture, line, tones especially Black & White).
- Colour theory - basic understanding of colour.
- Hints and tips.
