There are Black statues all over London that most of us simply walk past, or don't know the history of. Everyone knows about the Nelson Mandela statue in Parliament Square, but there are more than 20 statues of Black people in London and you will get to see and hear about them in this presentation. Come and hear Avril Nanton give an informative guide to all the statues she has found that represent Black people in London. This two hour presentation will ensure that you will view London with new eyes when you walk around spotting the statues that hold a historical link to Black Londoners. To contact Avril 07984 759 506. Tickets £5.00.
