Cocktail Connoisseurs Dead Parrot

The triumphant winners of Monkey Shoulder’s Ultimate Bartender Championships – cocktail connoisseurs Dead Parrot – will be serving up their unique drinks experience via their own circus-themed bar at London Cocktail Week this October. The spectacular display, which is part of their winning prize package, will be stocked and promoted by Monkey Shoulder whisky.

The fabulous team of four will be shaking up a menu of standout Monkey Shoulder cocktails at their bar, including the refreshing Bearded Lady and the winning Hook A Duck. The delicious drinks will be served in a host of creative ways from slush puppies in coconut cups to coke floats.

The Flying Circus will be in town for six days only, featuring a host of spine tingling attractions for fun loving punters, including terrifying glass eating tricks from fully trained performers Ruby True and Eve Dearbhail Travis, and a host of games including Tin Can Alley and High Striker.

As if all this wasn’t exciting enough, the fun loving Dead Parrot team will be offering a daily ‘circus hour’, running from 4 – 5pm, which rewards talented customers with a free drink should they perform one of a selection of circus tricks to the team’s satisfaction. This, combined with delicious nibbles from the ‘Freaks ‘n’ Eats’ kitchen such as the yummy ‘Deep Fried Lion’s Bar’, is sure to boast the greatest show on earth (or at least Shoreditch)!

Horsham’s finest cocktail connoisseurs clinched the winning title at Monkey Shoulder’s Ultimate Bartender Championship final in June of this year, following a six month battle against some of the nation’s most talented bartenders. Immersing guests in the full circus experience, including a high striker and candy floss machine, the foursome impressed the judges and the public alike with their creativity and crowd pleasing menu of cocktails.
