Syon House has been the location for famous, iconic films, with its historic rooms creating atmospheric settings for many period dramas.

During the daytime the house is a scene full of activity and light, but at night, the atmosphere changes. Syon’s long turbulent history is in the very fibre of the House and layers of memories ooze from its walls and foundation. Those visitors of a sensitive nature can feel it as they walk through the rooms like those who have passed through before; abbey nuns, tragic priests, doomed kings and queens, loyal servants……..long gone. Or are they?
