-ISQ take a conventional jazz line up of vocals, piano, double bass and drums and add their own, very open, approach to music. Revelling in live performance, they embrace "the song" as an improvisational framework to move into different – sometimes unexpected- sonic directions and moods.

Their second studio album "TOO" has seen them firmly establish a reputation as a formidable emerging force in terms of both creativity and performance.

"...singer Irene Serra has a strong stage presence and a compelling vocal tone, which she uses to great effect on original songs that defy categorisation... you can sense a good few awards and an international tour in the offing" Jazzwise

"Jazz is always reinventing itself, and -isq is deliciously original." - LondonJazz.

"...A couple of years on from its debut, -isq is perfecting its craft, becoming one of the most recognisable bands on the scene. "Too" is an insight into a very special musical world..." Bruce Lindsay - All About Jazz

-isq are Irene Serra (vocals), Richard Sadler (double bass), Chris Nickolls (drums) and John Crawford (piano).

Support comes from Emily Francis Trio, a contemporary take on the classic jazz piano trio format, led by pianist and keyboardist, Emily Francis.

Bringing influences from progressive rock, jazz-rock, 70's jazz-funk and soul, EFT combines a strong melodic and groove-based approach with a traditional improvised sensibility, resulting in a series of fresh and exciting new compositions.

With Bassist, Trevor Boxall and Drummer, Liam Waugh, Emily Francis Trio represents an accessible, richly textured, and dynamic addition to the UK jazz scene.
