Upstairs Gallery Launch: Curio II: Wunderwalls

Curio Art Collective is bringing its unique blend of art, music and the unexpected to the Ritzy for the latest pop-up in this unpredictable series: Wunderwalls. CURIO curates art events that connect new talent to new audiences in surprising environments.

Playing against the alienating, white-walled formality of the 'art show', Curio creates experiences that engage, entertain and provoke.

Four artists will each be given a wall space to display a work. Then – as the opening night progresses – they will expand beyond the borders of the work and on to the wall itself. The finished murals will be on show for a month alongside prints, which will be available to purchase.

Expect more cheap prints, one-offs, mixed media, live art and funky music. The works will be accompanied by live musical performances and participatory events. Bring an open mind.

Price range of works: £20-£200.
