It all started as a gathering of like-minded people at a little bar in Brighton called Cube Bar - a bi-weekly Thursday event born out of a pure love for trance music. And from tiny acorns great oaks grow.

Transcend has taken us on quite a journey already; From Brighton, to Bristol, to Ibiza and, of course, to our current home, London. We’ve hosted names like Signum, The Thrillseekers, STANDERWICK, James Dymond, Phil Parry and Dan Ascherl. We’ve ripped the roof off Tropi Trance Bar on the White Isle with our friends, Journey. Our residents have played for powerhouses such as Goodgreef and Godskitchen. But most importantly, we have shared countless memories, forged many friendships and ventured on many sonic expeditions. And we are only just getting started.

In December, Transcend turns 3 years old and we mark the occasion by writing yet another chapter in this ever unfolding story. Following the huge success of our Residents & Future Heroes event in July, we return to Club Reina in Farringdon, again delivering 2 rooms of trance, progressive and techno to the heart of the capital till the very early hours.

Committed as we are to shaping line ups that will take our crowd on immersive musical journeys, we revive the tried and tested formula that made our April event with The Thrillseekers our most electric ever event. An extended set from a trance stalwart.

Our birthday headliner is none other than master of the peaktime uplifter, Mr. Manuel Le Saux. Manny is a prolific producer of almost 10 years, a Discover favourite and the man behind hugely popular radio show and record label, Extrema. His set at Luminosity this year was a highlight of one of the most talked about trance events in years. And you, the Transcend crowd, will get him for 4 hours.

Joining Manny in the main room, we have London-based producer, one half of North & Sanchez, Chris North, making his debut for Transcend fresh off the back of his successful collaborations with Ali Wilson. And we couldn’t possibly have a birthday celebration without representation from our friends at Journey (Cardiff). Journey residents, Hywel Matthews & Richie Knight will be cooking up a very special vinyl classics set for you all.

We also welcome back our friends, the UK Trance Society, who will once again bring their unmistakable passion and energy to proceedings. Room 2 at Residents & Future Heroes was rocking from open till close and this time will be no different.

Not only will this be an epic birthday celebration but it will be a fitting way to bring the curtain down on what has been an unforgettable first year in London for Transcend. We will be pulling out all the stops for this one. Don’t miss it! Be a part of it!
