Book Slam South

London's leading, coolest and longest running literary night featuring the best in literary, musical and spoken word talent.

This is the last Book Slam of 2015 and you're all invited. Also invited are some of our contributors and the book world's finest young talent, including JESSIE BURTON, NIKITA LALWANI and ALEX PRESTON , plus live music from the simply astonishing MAHALIA and a poetry set from contemporary prince of the hip hop zeigeist, LOYLE CARNER - now there's a line up to fire the imagination! It's the night before Guy Fawkes, but there will be fireworks - literary fireworks ... by which we mean figurative fireworks ... I mean, there won't literally be fireworks ... Books will be sold by our favourite bookshop, NEWHAM BOOKS. Hosting duties will be taken by our favourite host, FELICITY WARD.
