The Hidden Prologues literary salon is proud to welcome Polly Vernon, the celebrated author and columnist, to the Radisson Blu Edwardian Bloomsbury Street hotel. Self-described as “a foul-mouthed hack who wrote a controversy”, Polly will take to the sofa with Sam Leith on the 12th November to discuss her book, Hot Feminist.

Hot Feminist is centred on the principles of non-judgement, honesty and empowerment. Part memoir, part roadmap, Polly draws from her own experience and presents a bold new perspective on feminism, fiercely challenging pre-conceived social constructs about how women feel they should behave.

Hidden Prologues, now in its second year, is a literary salon with a difference, revealing the stories behind some of Britain’s favourite authors’ latest works in an intimate discussion in a relaxed environment.

Sam Leith said: "I'm very excited to be welcoming Polly Vernon to Hidden Prologues. I've been following her work closely since she was Cocktail Girl (a column after my own heart), and I'm an admirer of her huge wit, good sense and way with words. I can't wait to hear her cool take on hot feminism."

Tickets are free and guests will be able to buy a copy of the book to be signed. Please find all event details below.
