Celebrating Jazz Festival with Kyla Wight at The Golden Horseshoe Casino

Not one to miss out on a celebration... The Golden Horseshoe celebrates with Kyla Wight.

Kyla Wight has been involved in Creative Media for many years as a Photographic and Digital Artist, Musician, Actor, Presenter and Compère.

Currently the Creative Director for The Rye International Jazz & Blues Festival and recently stepping in as Creative Consultant for Gifted Young Gravesham (GYG) and Kent University ‘s The Lighthouse Project. Kyla is also a Mentor and Ambassador for Kent University’s Music and Fine Arts Faculty.

Kyla also sits on the board, and is a founding member of the Algalex Foundation. The Foundation has recently reviewed it’s mission statement to focus on the Blues and Jazz genres reflecting Kyla’s deeper ties to both and associated genres, while continuing the nurturing of new and emerging artists through innovative collaboration leading to an immersive performance experience for artists, educators and enablers alike. Performance that is contemporary while evoking the genres rich history, recognising the continuity, as well as the development of the art form.
