Cellist Jo-anne Cox and singer-songwriter Walton McClaren guest as part of the Together! 2015 Disability History Month Festival at this regular Canning Town club night which cheerfully mixes musical genres and welcomes everyone to make live music.
The Together! Music Club has been running on the first Monday of each month in Canning Town since 2013. Usually based at the River Centre, the Club organises a pop-up event every August, so club nights have also taken place under the A13 flyover and in West Ham's Memorial Park. The Club has also produced a number of offshoots, including creating 12 giant percussion instruments from recycled construction instruments and found objects and installing these in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park for the February half-term. Regulars and visitors are equally welcome to watch, play along or perform; percussion instruments are provided.
