SLIM CHANCE, the band Ronnie Lane formed when he left the Faces, is treading the boards again. Original members Steve Simpson, Charlie Hart, Steve Bingham, Alun Davies and Colin Davey, joined by Geraint Watkins, are playing Ronnie's songs in the spirit of the band's previous incarnations.

When Slim Chance play the Half Moon, which is one of their all time favourite gigs, it's always a night to remember. This time will be no exception as they intend to pull out all the stops.

Regulars Charlie Hart, Steve Simpson and Steve Bingham, will be joined by John Lingwood and Geraint Watkins, as well as their special guest, singer Des Horsfall, the irrepressible Yorkshireman whose love for Ronnie and all things Slim Chance knows no bounds.

Besides all the regular favourites – How Come, The Poacher, One for the Road, Debris etc. – the band is likely to play one or two Leadbelly numbers, as a prelude to their appearance at the Albert Hall on June 15th as part of the Lead Belly Fest, and also a taste of their own eagerly awaited forthcoming album.

Slim Chance is an evolving story, an extended family that is forever growing, and the band – still 'reformed but unrepentant!' - feels honoured to be joined by such talented musicians as will take the stand with them on May 2nd. Be prepared for a no holes barred full on night of magic!
