The Electric Carousel Presents HARRIET Live At Rah Rah Room

We are delighted to be hosting an extra special show, where HARRIET celebrates the launch of her new album, 'MAYBE THIS CHRISTMAS' with her live band. She will be performing songs from this wonderfully festive album, interspersed with music from previous releases, as well as some brand new material.

'Maybe This Christmas' will be released digitally prior to this performance, on November 13th through iTunes, Spotify and Amazon and the physical version is available exclusively through Harriet's website online shop. The title track, co-written with Judie Tzuke and Steve Anderson peaked at number 77 in the iTunes Chart last Christmas when released as part of an EP, as well as numerous plays across BBC Radio 2, including a live performance on Graham Norton's prime-time 'Seasonal Special' in December. This year, the EP has been extended into an album - a collection of classic Christmas songs, with fresh, unique arrangements and production by Steve Anderson. You', the album has moments of seasonal melancholy with 'Christmas Time Is Here' and 'December Song'. Harriet's signature layered vocals are delicately exposed in her a cappella version of 'Silent Night', and a magical rendition of 'I'll Be Home For Christmas' is performed as a lullaby and as if it were something that had been played from an old-fashioned musical box. The album has already received much excitement and Harriet is thrilled to be doing an exclusive performance for Paul O'Grady's special BBC Radio 2 Christmas Day show.
