Sarah Pascoe to headline a light-hearted evening of comedy, with 100% of the proceeds going to Amnesty International.

Begun in 2009 to raise awareness of Burmese comedian Zarganar, imprisoned for satirising his regime, the need to continue to campaign in this area sadly remains. Though Zarganar was thankfully released from prison in 2011, freedom of speech in Burma is still a long way from reality. Journalists, politicians, and many others continue to be imprisoned for daring to speak out. Just this month, two people were arrested for mocking the country’s army chief on Facebook.

Join compere Joe Davies, celebrated comedian Sara Pascoe, LIam Williams, Sajeela Kershi and more to have fun in a good cause!

“Pascoe is one of the most relevant comics today, and that doesn’t come at the expense of the funny.” Chortle

“[Liam Williams is the] voice of a generation” The Independent
