The VFX Festival 2016 is Escape Studios’ celebration of the visual effects industry. The VFX Festival was developed by Escape Studios, part of Pearson College, in 2013 and has run every year since. The festival aims to bring together a number of highly respected colleagues and professional studios from all spectrums of the VFX, Games and Animation industries.

This year’s event will bring the best in VFX, games, animation and motion graphics from February 23rd - 25th 2016 at London's iconic O2.

As per previous years, The VFX Festival will consist of a number of film screenings, panel discussions and keynote lectures from talent across the British film industry. Day one of the festival hosted by The Mill will explore Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality, with Hamilton & Kidd providing a supporting feature presentation on Virtual Reality and 360 technologies.

The second day, will focus on convergence, MPC will be speaking about their work on 20th Century Fox., action adventure picture The Martian and Rushes will be discussing the amazing Motion Graphics featured in the new James Bond film Spectre. The third day will feature career and recruitment talks by some of the leading studios in town and around the world.
