Mardi Gras Brixton All Day Festival

Pop Brixton and 7Suns present Mardi Gras Brixton! For an all day all night FREE party Pop Brixton will be transformed into a mini New Orleans French Quarter with brass band parades, live art, live music, Louisiana food and drinks, street performers and more all day on Saturday 6th February.

Come on down for an exciting Cajun carnival Crescent City style in the heart of South London. Experience the N’Awlins vibe of ‘Fat Tuesday’: don your glad rags, grab some beads and let the good times roll (“Laissez les bon temps rouler”)! Immerse yourself in an explosion of heavy brass, big beats, tropical rhythms and Jazz harmonies.

From morning ‘till night you can move to the groove of traditional New Orleans sounds, enjoy fortune telling, face painting and amazing cuisine. Mardi Gras Brixton celebrates the spirit of Louisiana all set to a backdrop of glittery and colourful revelry.
