Can you solve a crime before it’s happened? Should you? In an increasingly digital age there are techniques which can be deployed in preventative crime- fighting, but what are the pitfalls of using them? What happens to ‘innocent until proven guilty’? Will technology ever be reliable enough? How quickly does reality lose focus when all you see is screens and statistics?

Forensic Outreach lead an interactive workshop exploring and considering the potential of preventative, digital crime-fighting. Learn techniques, including hot spot analysis, and then put your skills to the test. Use a specially developed interactive app and team work to solve a scenario and crack the case against the clock! All materials will be provided. Includes an after-hours cash bar available throughout the event.
