Final Preparation for Central Clearing

Central clearing is the hot topic of the moment due to affect many financial organisations worldwide. After the 2009 ruling from the G20, EMIR (European Market Infrastructure Regulation) is enforcing mandatory clearing and reporting to trade repositories of OTC derivative contracts. The first phase of this mandate is set for June 2016 to cover interest rate swap OTC derivatives. Those involved will require not just knowledge but also a broad and ready infrastructure with a set of robust processes to match.
