For the beginner and developing student who wishes to explore their creative potential in drawing focusing mainly on Still Life. During the Spring Term we will be exploring essential drawing techniques – observation, perspective, negative spaces, mark-making and composition. For the first four weeks the class will be based at Hargrave Hall, Archway and after Half Term will be based at various London Museums using historic artefacts as inspiration.

Please bring drawing pads, pencils, conte pencils and rubbers. No charcoal, pastels or paints will be allowed inside the museums but can be used in the first half of the term at Hargrave Hall. It is advisable to bring a foldable chair for the museums.
Late-comers are welcome to join anytime – tuition can be pro-rated.
