The Monte Piano Trio was founded in 2008 at the Musikhochschule in Frankfurt, Germany. The Trio are prize winners of several international competitions including Schumann (Germany), Maria Canals (Spain), Brahms (Austria) and Almere (Holland). In 2015, the Trio released From a Tender Age, a CD in partnership with Genuin Classics, which received many accolades and was chosen as CD of the Month on Stereo Magazine. Their next CD on Genuin Label is due for release in 2016.
