Looks and Moves: Half Term Workshop

Look out for us from February to May, as Pump House Gallery will be back at Southside Shopping Centre with our ever popular drop in workshops. Working with illustrators Pencil & Help and dancer CoDa Dance, we will be running a series of free art activities and events. Kicking off with a workshop during the February Half Term, join us as we combine art and dance. Drop in from 11am – 4pm as we find shapes and patterns in people’s movements around a shopping centre, and turn them into illustrations and dance moves that could find their way into an interactive art installation at Southside for the Wandsworth Arts Festival 2016.

Pump House Gallery is delighted to be working with Southside Shopping Centre. In previous years at Southside Shopping Centre, we have seen thousands of shoppers drop in and get creative. Looks and Moves project is part of our outreach programme, OutHouse, where the gallery works with artists and local communities to find ways to explore, capture and animate the local surroundings. Offering a range of artistic techniques and experiences, projects work with diverse audiences and culminate in high quality outcomes created with and by participants.

All our events and workshops are free and suitable for all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
