Beethoven's Trio in G major Opus 9 no. 1.
Written by Ludwig van Beethoven at the age of 28 and published in Vienna in 1799, this early and very exciting work was perhaps the most vigorous piece the composer ever wrote for string trio.

Helen Sanders-Hewett: viola
James Greenfield: cello
This concert will feature two members of the Quartet and a 'Friend' of the Quartet, Helen Sanders-Hewett.
