Stop Trident Rally

CND are calling a national demonstration to protest against Trident, Britain’s nuclear weapons system. Join us a week before the Stop Trident demo at our rally and mobilising meeting on Friday 19th February. Hear the arguments against replacement and help us to mobilse thousands on the day of the demo. After the rally we will arrange additional leafleting sessions, and discuss stewarding and logistics for the 27th.

Why are we doing this?
This year Parliament will decide on whether or not to replace Trident, the UK's nuclear weapons system.

Polls show that a majority of the public oppose Trident replacement. It is obscene that, while the government plans to spend more than £100 billion on a cold war relic, huge cuts are made to vital public services.
