PERFORMING LIVE!

***THE ELECTRIC PENCILS***

The Electric Pencils are a London based two man band formed in late 2014 by Ben Edge and Steve Coley.

The name was inspired by a trip to the Collection de l’Art Brut in Lausanne, Switzerland where Ben Edge (who is also a visual artist) came across the drawings of the recently discovered outsider artist James Edward Deeds (A.K.A the electric pencil).

Their sound is an eclectic fusion of the music they love, mixing garage rock, punk, post punk, 60’s pop, blues, country and folk. Since forming the band have played a selective handful of shows and have already received rave reviews for there energetic and unpredictable performances.

They have also recently completed their self titled debut album that has now been released digitally on there own label 'One man movement'. There will also be a vinyl and cd release later in the year as well as a string of live dates that are yet to be announced.

***NERVOUS TWITCH***

Fresh from their BBC 6 music session with Marc Riley!

Inspired by a shared love of the Ramones and other 70s punk bands, 60s girl group such as the The Ronettes through to modern North American Garage acts such as Nobunny, Nervous Twitch create short sharp contagious pop songs crammed with hooks and memorable melodies.

+ DJS ALL NIGHT!
