Following his explosive performances as Associate Artist in summer 2015, the same year that he was awarded Jazz FM’s Instrumentalist of the Year, enigmatic musician Shabaka Hutchings returns to Spitalfields for another arresting collaboration.

This time teaming up with poet and musician Anthony Joseph, their partnership explores the multi-facetted stories of the Afro-Caribbean community, weaving through a lyrical journey of re-imagined Caribbean folk songs.
