Drop-in as we create a set of cards and rules to play with throughout the day. With special rules which can be serious as well as silly, including creating your very own “wild card,” a card which you can pull out to make your everyday more interesting and maybe even anarchic. It allows you to opt out of certain social rules or set new ones.
This workshop is part of the ongoing project The Do's & Don’ts - Responding to social rules with art, designed by artist Rosalie Schweiker. Based in the gallery Project Space, this project explores and questions the rules and regulations of public spaces and social interactions. Open to all during gallery hours, this project invites visitors to drop-in to the Project Space and explore ideas through hands on activities.
Drop-in workshop for all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
