22nd – 25th September 2016

For four days this September, New Scientist Live will be like nowhere else on Earth.

The inaugural New Scientist Live event, courtesy of the team behind the world’s most popular science weekly, is a four-day festival of ideas and discovery taking place at ExCeL London.

Rooted in the biggest, best and most provocative science that touches all areas of human life, the show will feature four immersive zones covering Brain & Body, Technology, Earth and The Cosmos to showcase how science, technology and engineering drive our economy, shape our culture and improve our lives.

Curious festival-goers will see world-class speakers, demonstrations and over 200 exhibitors. They will also be able to take part in experiences that stimulate all the senses and answer life’s greatest questions with over 100 talks across the four days. Topics include:

• What if you could drive a mile in three seconds?
• Where are the Earth’s last secret places?
• Is technology liberating us or enslaving us?
• How does it feel to have a bionic arm?
• What if we could bridge the gap between human and animal communication?
• Can we solve the antibiotics crisis?
• How do you hijack a space craft?

These burning questions and many more will be answered as world renowned speakers including Astronomer Royal Martin Rees and Broadcaster Alice Roberts take to the stage.

Plus don’t miss the spectacular interactive displays including the Bloodhound Project’s 1000mph car and a chance to see the Mars Rover in the flesh.

See, hear and touch the future at New Scientist live; it’s science as you’ve never seen it before.
