Chrysalis London is back at the Bernie Grant Arts Centre, this time for two nights, to perform in the city from which it takes it inspiration on Thursday 28th and Friday 29th April.

Doors: 7:15 PM.

This varied programme is an accumulation of the Company's work to this point with outstanding features choreographed by Jodie Blemings, the Company's Artistic Director.

Chrysalis London will take you on a journey through a diverse collection of Contemporary dance works set to a soundtrack that segues from classical to dubstep. The programme will showcase the sleek and sexy 'Throb'; a look into the world of club culture, this high energy piece will take you on a journey and leave you feeling like you've had a night out yourself. Completely contrasting is 'Polluted Purity', an emotional journey set to Max Richter and inspired by the continued struggle for human rights at home and around the world, captured by Edmund Burke's quote; 'The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing'. Combined with other exciting new work, this show promises a diverse programme that is not to be missed.

Founded in 2014, Chrysalis London is a Contemporary dance company whose work stands out from the crowd, packing a punch and delivering performances that will exhilarate any audience with its explosive, edgy and highly impactful repertoire. Drawing inspiration from London, the Company uses this great city as the stimulus to produce eclectic, raw and beautiful choreography that always enthrals, leaving audiences captivated and eager for more.

Enjoy an outstanding evening through the rise of Chrysalis London.
