Brixton Beer and Bread Festival

As part of our bicentenary celebrations, we are hosting Brixton’s first Beer and Bread Festival in Windmill Gardens, in collaboration with Brixton Brewery.

Come along to try out beers and breads from local breweries and bakeries, including Brixton Brewery, Canopy Beer Company, Clarkshaws Brewery, London Beer Lab, Old Post Office Bakery, and Parissi.

Beers from Brixton Brewery will be available on tap and in bottle, with a share of each sale going to benefit the Windmill. A great range of beers from all four local breweries will be available to try and buy for takeaway.

We will be officially launching the sale of Brixton Windmill flour, and you will have the chance to buy one of our limited edition bags of flour designed by Tyler, aged 6, of Holy Trinity School, who won a competition for local schools to design a bicentenary flour bag. The competition was judged by our creative ambassador for 2016, Brixton-based fashion and design company Eley Kishimoto.

To make things go with a swing there will be live music and we are hoping to demonstrate milling of malted barley for brewing, which will be used for brewing by Brixton Brewery.
