Tapas Revolution Live Music Night

Omar Allibhoy’s lively Spanish tapas bar, Tapas Revolution is launching ‘Noches Latinas’ in Shoreditch this summer. Beginning on Saturday 14th May with live music from Sevillan three-piece band Dandaluz, this will be the first in a series of monthly live music nights at Tapas Revolution on Bethnal Green Road.

Following on from the success of their first live music night to celebrate Tapas Revolution Shoreditch’s first birthday, Dandaluz will take up a monthly residency at the bustling tapas bar, celebrating the sounds of Spain with their infectious mix of Rumba, Pachanga and Flamenco with a little Salsa and Bossa Nova thrown in for good measure. Guests can get in the Spanish spirit with authentic Spanish tapas and Tapas Revolution’s famous daily ‘Sangria Time’ happy hour, offering 2-for-1 Gin Tonics and Cocktails and half-price jugs of Sangria from 5pm-7pm.

Dandaluz is a three-piece Spanish-Chilean band formed in 2012. By peculiar coincidence, the three members – Antonio, Manu and Yuri – all come from different villages just 3km away from each other near Seville, in the southern province of Andalusia. Dandaluz bring together the melodies and rhythms of rumba, pachanga, flamenco, salsa and bossa nova creating instantly memorable songs and an infectious sound.

Tapas Revolution is Spanish chef Omar’s personal interpretation of the fun and bustling tapas bars in his hometown of Madrid. Omar and his team use only the finest Iberian ingredients sourced from small Artisan producers across Spain and freshly prepare all the dishes in-house. Tapas Revolution Shoreditch is Omar’s first stand-alone tapas bar, with other locations at Westfield London (Shepherd’s Bush), Bluewater (Kent), Grand Central (Birmingham) and Meadowhall (Sheffield).
