CELEBRATE 30 YEARS OF TOP GUN AT MAGGIE’S CLUB

I FEEL THE NEED... THE NEED FOR SPEED! It’s been nearly 30 years since the iconic film, Top Gun, roared into theatres and took a highway to the danger zone and rocked our worlds in 1986. To celebrate the cult classic that made aviators cool, Chelsea’s hit 1980s-inspired club Maggie’s is hosting an Official Top Gun 30th Anniversary Bash on Thursday, 12 May 2016.

Fans can expect to party the night away with the Top Gun Crew – Goose, Maverick and of course, Iceman. All guests who arrive before midnight will be handed a special Top Gun mask of their favourite character to wear all night long. Partygoers are encouraged to dress up in fighter pilot jumpsuits fit to ride into the danger zone and rock their best pair of aviator shades and dog tags. All guests that don their Maverick-style costumes will receive a complimentary Top Gun-inspired cocktail.

Partygoers can jam out to the best hits from the Top Gun Soundtrack including Danger Zone and Take My Breath Away and can even have a dance with the handsome Maverick himself, the ultimate wingman. The Maggie’s staff will be decked out in Top Gun style gear and the best-dressed guest will win an exclusive Maggie’s membership for one year and a complimentary fishbowl to share with friends for the evening.

Great Balls of Fire!

About Maggie’s

Maggie’s is named after 1980s Prime-Minister-turned-icon Maggie Thatcher. Club goers can hear her famous speeches playing in the looks, while Thatcher memorabilia vies for space on the walls alongside other iconic ‘80s images and paraphernalia from A team action men to A-Ha platinum discs. Inception Group also own and operate secret Chelsea-based bar, Barts, the acclaimed Bunga Bunga, an Englishman’s Italian bar, pizzeria and karaoke venue in Battersea, Mr Fogg’s Residence in Mayfair, Brazilian-inspired nightclub Cocobananas, mountain cabin and dance saloon, Beaver Lodge, Cahoots, a late-night bar that transports guests back in time to an abandoned 1940s themed underground tube station, and most recently they launched Mr Fogg’s Tavern in Covent Garden, a Victorian-inspired Pub, Gin Parlour and Salon.
