Exploring the 100-year development of research and understanding relating to the health and wellbeing of soldiers returning to civilian life, we host a public discussion on how soldiers have been supported throughout history, how they are supported today and what more could be done.
Our panel includes the author of ‘Aftershock: The Untold Story of Surviving Peace’, Matthew Green, and expert in the history of shellshock and PTSD, Dr Fiona Reid. Jake Wood, a veteran who worked with Matthew on his book, will join the panel. Matthew’s book will be available to purchase on the evening.
This event will be live-tweeted.
