Art is magic. Art is utterly vital. Art has the power to heal deep wounds, to aid us in the darkest moments.

FoolishPeople facilitate workshops that offer the willing participant the opportunity to reconnect with the true nature of magical art in a safe and supportive environment, using core techniques developed over twenty years through FP’s own ritual workings and artistic practice.

You will work with John Harrigan, founder of FoolishPeople to explore various visualisation, meditation and exercises that combine the essence of shamanism with ritual, drama therapy and personal mythology. These techniques will enable you to overcome fear, address emotional blocks and effectively control stress so you are ultimately free to explore your own path and journey in art and also life.

This aim of this workshop is to empower and teach you new skills and tools that you can use in everyday life to attain a greater sense of wellbeing, happiness and peace in your creative practice.

John’s work with FoolishPeople has been presented at the Institute of Contemporary Arts, Arcola Theatre, Secret Cinema and Wilderness Festival amongst others. Over the last twenty five years FoolishPeople has collaborated with hundreds of artists and creatives. John has hosted talks and workshops at the ICA, Central school of Drama, Wilderness Festival, the BBC among others.

Places for this workshop are very limited.
