The Apathy Band at Grow in Hackney Wick

Every Thursday at Grow@Grow we celebrate music, art, conversation and community and this week we're joined by Bob and Roberta Smith and The Apathy Band.

The Apathy Band Demoralize the Motivated. The Apathy Band never rehearse. The Apathy Band can't go on. Band members include: Bob and Roberta Smith, George Barker, Alice Hitazo, George Cleghorn, Leonardo Ulian and Jessica Voorsanger.

Bring your own percussion to join in with the first canal side acoustic performance and then you'll be encouraged to dance as we head inside for the second one as the sun starts to go down.

As it is every Thursday, it's free entry but this week we'll also be raising funds for the Apathy Band's new album* in association with Resonance 104.4fm so do feel to make a £5 donation to the artists if you don't feel too apathetic.
