What would any festival be without this hilarious, insightful and ever so wee Irishman to comment upon the latest shenanigans of the world today?

Expanding on his recent Radio 4 pilot Late Agenda, the UK's chief clown and self-declared news junkie takes a long look at theme running through international news; populism. Scrutinising the rise of Trump, Putin’s continued influence, ISIS, referendums, war mongering and whore mongering, the Euros, immigration, the Royal Family, Scottish independence and the Olympics, as well as the trials of his own existence as he finds himself married to an Egyptian and living in a detached house in the country.

Renowned for his cutting edge comedy, this legendary laughter-inducer is a must-see for any comedy fan. Thought-provoking, charming and an acclaimed master of his craft, he has won and been nominated for numerous awards throughout his career, from Chortle’s Comic’s Comic in 2005 to being twice nominated for the prestigious Fosters Edinburgh Comedy Award. As well as his continued dominance on the live circuit, Andrew’s many TV credits include John Bishop’s Only Joking (Sky), Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central (Comedy Central), Live at the Apollo (BBC), Delete Delete Delete (BBC), Eureka (RTE), The Blame Game (BBC) and One Night Stand (Dave). He can also be seen on various TV shows from Mock the Week to Have I Got News For You, he has guested on ITV2’s Safeword, and is set to re-appear again this summer alongside Rick Edwards and Katherine Ryan, he’s co-hosted The Sin Bin (TV3) with Joe Molloy and is the voice of MTV’s hugely popular Ex On The Beach. He presented the BBC3 documentary Conspiracy Coach Trip (Renegade Pictures) which focussed on the 7/7 Bombings, Creationism and UFOs. He is a regular on BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz, BBC Radio Scotland’s Breaking the News and hosted his own authored series Public Enemies on Radio 4. In his spare time Andrew is developing sit-com ideas and curates Altitude Festival in Mayrhofen, Austria, one of the most exciting comedy festivals in the world. Didn't really need to put that much you stopped reading a long time ago!
