Lunchtime Special: Gospel With The Idmc Gospel Group Directed By John Fisher

Today we are presenting the brilliant 10 piece Gospel choir IDMC with their director John Fisher. IDMC are a fabulous and well-respected gospel choir who were the guest choir, with Heather Small, when London won the 2012 Olympic Bid. They have performed by request at Luciano Pavarotti’s wedding, Jamelia’s wedding and have twice been guests at The Royal Albert Hall. IDMC returns to the Club this afternoon with a brand new album under their belt, and following their recent worldwide release they plan to present an explosive and soulful programme of original songs along with gospel and soul-filled classics. With a supporting band featuring bass, drums and piano giving an added groove to the already vibrant performance, this promises to be a great afternoon's entertainment. As they say, they are "coming back to the Club to share an afternoon of gospel cheer and celebration as they, along with the rest of the country, celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday." Seems like a great way to celebrate a birthday to me! And don’t forget this is our family day so children are more than welcome.
