Streatham Food Festival

The seventh annual STREATHAM FOOD FESTIVAL will take place from Wednesday 15th – Sunday 19th June. The packed programme features something for all the family and will include:

* 17th – 19th June: A chance to take a culinary tour of the world, on one high road with the return of the popular Streatham Food Tour. 30 restaurants will offer mini plates allowing visitors to taste a range of cuisines as they visit some of the best eateries Streatham has on offer, scoring them as they go

* 17th June: Brand new this year, the Toddler Tour, an afternoon offering families the chance to test out the children’s menus at some of Streatham’s most family friendly venues

* 19th June: The Sunday Food Fair, a pop up celebration of food and entertainment, perfect for a father’s day outing, complete with cooking demos, two choirs and live mural creation

* Plus: a school recipe competition, pop-up restaurants, food growing sessions, a film night and more.

This year’s Streatham Food Festival is funded by InStreatham BID, a not for profit company created by local businesses, for local businesses. Oli Osibo, chair of the BID, commented “We are delighted to support the Streatham Food Festival. In 2015 over 10,000 people participated in the festival, with 62 local businesses, 8 local charities and ten schools getting involved, so it’s an ideal event to help us showcase what a wonderful, varied and interesting place Streatham is.”
