London Accordion Orchestra (LAO) is delighted to be hosting this fantastic orchestra from Ireland for our annual Bellows Across Borders gala concert. A young, exciting orchestra guided by their conductor John Chilton and leader Yvonne Chilton.
The concert will take place at the London Irish Centre in Camden, a vibrant arts hub showcasing the best in Irish culture. Don't miss this joint concert by two of Europe's leading orchestras.
LAO are freshly returned from the World Music Festival, held in Austria in May, where they came second. They will perform their award winning programme and the first UK performance of Ian Watson's 'Clowns', premiered in Germany last month.
Castletown will play pieces as diverse as 'The Seafarer' by Haydn Wood, 'Seagate Overture' by James Swearingen and their show-stopping version of 'Bohemian Rhapsody' by Queen.
