The Velma Celli Show is coming to The Pheasantry! On the 24th June, as part of the Pride in London Festival and The Pheasantry’s Art of Drag Cabaret, Velma Celli will be bringing you an unmissable rendition of, The Velma Celli Show.

As part of the London’s Pride Festival programme from 10-26th June, Velma’s show will be just one of many events celebrating the transgender and gay communities. The Pheasantry is one of London’s premier spaces for jazz, cabaret and more. In 2012, this beautiful and atmospheric room was nominated for Best Live Music Venue in the London Lifestyle Awards, coming second only to the Royal Albert Hall.

The Peasantry’s Art of Drag Cabaret is a one off celebration of all things drag, working in conjunction with Pride in London.

Velma has been wowing audiences across the globe for the past four years, starring in her very own musical cabaret revue show, The Velma Celli Show. A wonderfully colourful cabaret comprised of a collective mix of the music that we all know and love, including Bassey to Beyoncé and everything in between!
Velma will have you moving from crying with laughter to broken-hearted at the drop of a very stylish hat. Switching from hysterical impressions of popular divas such as Britney or Cher to flawless vocals of stripped back acoustic pop songs, this roller coaster of a cabaret really hits every spot!

Velma is the alter-ego of West End performer Ian Stroughair who has appeared in hit shows such as Cats, Fame, Chicago and most recently RENT, where he received critical acclaim for his portrayal as Angel.

"A sensational performer at the height of her game" West End Frame

Velma Celli appears in collaboration with Fullcircle.
