A family fired by a company owned by LVMH – the luxury group owned by the richest man in France, Bernard Arnault - seeks reparation from their previous employer with the help of the filmmakers. The film received wide critical acclaim when released in France, as well as political attention as it fuelled protests over labour in France, with the film’s theme tune becoming adopted by marching protestors.
